This Laundry Aide position is located at our Holly Creek Community in Centennial. This position is Full Time, which provides a robust and flexible benefit package including Paid Time Off (the longer you are with CLC, the more PTO you accrue). We also offer a scholarship program as well as a tuition reimbursement program.
Schedule is currently Sunday - Thursday 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. (40 Hours Per Week)
Although this is the current schedule we are looking to fill, please understand that schedules may change according to the needs and demands of the Community)
Responsible for washing all linens, drapes, and resident personal clothing within the community
Ensure washing and drying machines are in use consistently.
Collect, sort, wash, dry and fold mop heads and rags, all linens and resident personal clothing.
Deliver clean linen to appropriate areas.
Deliver clean personal items to the appropriate resident.
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the laundry area and equipment according to specified standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
3 – 6 months experience in housekeeping or laundry preferred.
Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
Must possess excellent customer service skills.
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
Position requires moderate physical work. Occasional exertion of force of objects up to 50 pounds, constant exertion of force of up to 15 pounds.
Position requires constant standing, walking, stooping, squatting, reaching above shoulder height, and grasping. Position also requires some crawling, kneeling, and fine motor control of fingers. Occasional sitting.
Exposure to blood borne pathogens, body excretions and communicable diseases possible.
Frequent exposure to chemicals and possible high heat temperatures.
Is subject to frequent interruptions.
Interacts with residents, family members, visitors frequently.
